Beads in Trees
Driving down St. Charles Avenue and watching the trees sparkle is one of my favorite things and it's so specific to New Orleans. The beads are up all year round and these are done from photos I have taken. I love the juxtaposition of the natural oak branches and leaves and the shiny plastic beads. Each bead has some gold or silver leafing to give it that sparkle that Mardi Gras beads have.
